Thomas and Ashley met in California, built a life together, and raised four kids. Five years ago, they packed up and moved the whole family to Texas for a fresh start. Thomas had been a chef since he was 19 — talented, hardworking, and always in the kitchen. He kept at it here in Texas, but the long hours away from home meant missing the moments that matter most. When Ashley became pregnant with their son Peter, now 10 months old, they knew something had to change — for the family, for the balance, and for a better life.

So they started talking. Ashley had been a stay-at-home mom with a lifelong love of art and design — she'd dreamed of transforming homes since she was a little girl, but always told herself it was too far-fetched. Thomas had the work ethic and the drive — and, as it turned out, the roots. He grew up around construction, learning the trade alongside his dad and uncles, and was behind the wheel of a skid steer by the time he was 10. Coming back to that world felt natural. Together, they felt God pulling them toward something new — a business that would let them work side by side, be present for their kids, and build a life with more balance and more purpose.

That's how Drahos Family Services was born. Today, Thomas and Ashley get to do what they love every day — remodeling and transforming homes across the DFW Metroplex so other families can enjoy their spaces more. It's honest work, done with real passion, by a family that knows exactly what a home means.
